After-School & Summer Leadership Projects:

• Legal rights, community outreach, and public speaking training.
• Expert-level training in the Conflicts with Cops curriculum.
• Design and production of a film about a social or criminal justice issue of students' choice.

  Download a Leadership Project application. Internship applications are accepted on a rolling basis for the upcoming project cycle.

Conflicts with Cops Intensive:

• 11-week intensive curriculum.
• Presented in schools and community organizations.
• Conflict resolution, street law, and legal rights training.
• Improvisation and role-playing.

  Email a CWC Intensive request to our program staff.

Executive Internship Project:

• Summer and Academic-year placements.
• Rigorous legal rights, community outreach, and general job skills training.
• Dynamic office setting with frequent field trips.

Know Your Rights Workshops:

• 1-hour workshops.
• Presented in schools and community organizations.
• Legal rights training concerning police stops, searches, and arrests.
• Special curriculum for youth, as well as parents and teachers.

  Email a Workshop request to our program staff. *Please specify to what type of audience (youth, parents, or teachers) you are interested in having us present.

Youth Board:

• Coalition of past STATE participants.
• Youth-led meetings about youth and community issues.

  Email us to request an invitation to the next Youth Board meeting.
