NDS strives to provide an ambitious list of services to our clients. Through our Volunteer Attorney Project, NDS collaborates with some of New York City's most prominent law firms, who are committed to providing high-quality pro bono representation. The goal of the Volunteer Attorney Project is to expand available resources to meet a variety of legal needs. This project also provides support and training for lawyers in private practice interested in providing pro bono services.

The practice areas in which we are currently receiving support for our clients from our pro bono partners include criminal court advocacy for misdemeanor cases, housing, family law, school disciplinary hearings, collateral administrative proceedings, police misconduct cases, and transactional matters.
